MLB Atlanta beat Houston in first World Series record

The Atlanta Braves defeated Houston in the American Professional Baseball World Series to win the first game.

National League champions Atlanta defeated American League champions Houston Astros 6-2 in Game 1 of the 7-4 World Series that kicked off at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

Atlanta, who stepped on the World Series stage for the first time in 22 years since 1999, had a good chance to lift the World Series trophy for the fourth time in their career, following their predecessors, the Boston Braves (1914) and Milwaukee Braves (1957), and 1995. Caught.

In the 116 World Series played until last year, the team that won the first game had a 63% (73) chance of winning.

If you narrow it down to the World Series since 1997, the chances of winning are even higher, with the winning team winning the first leg 20 of the 23 times.

Game 2 of the World Series will be held tomorrow (28th) at 9 a.m. at the same location.

Atlanta became the first team in World Series history to score points every 1-3 innings.

Houston lost the first game at home after starting pitcher Framber Valdez, who played a brilliant counter pitch in the American League Championship Series, collapsed early on.

Atlanta won the victory with a solo home run from Jorge Soler’s leading batter left middle wall, which opened in the first inning.

Soler pulled Valdez’ sinker over the left wall.

This is the first time a leading hitter has hit a home run in the first inning in the World Series.

In the absence of a one-out runner, Ozzy Alvis stole second base after on-base with an infield hit in front of the pitcher, and Austin Riley hit a double in center field, running 2-0.

Houston tied a hit and two walks after the airlift shift to secure a two-out full base equalizer, but Kyle Tucker backed off with a ground ball and left a disappointment.

Atlanta tied Travis Dano and Jog Pederson’s streak to early second innings and Danmby Swanson’s deep-floating ball to create one-out first and third chances, and Soler added a point with a ground ball.

Atlanta’s Adam Duvall put the runner on first base in the 3rd inning leading 3-0 and drew a two-run arch from the left to harden Houston starter Valdes.

Houston caught up with one point in the one-out first and third bases made with doubles and hits in the bottom of the fourth inning due to a mistake by Atlanta shortstop Swanson, but in the continued one-out first and third bases, the following two batters were struck out and backed out by infield balls. Missed an opportunity to pursue.

Atlanta had a valuable victory in the enemy territory, but starting pitcher Charlie Morton also suffered a pain in the bottom of the second inning due to a fractured right calf bone after a strong hit by Julieschi Gurriel.
