Kottayam ∙ A young man who went missing from Alappuzha Aryad on the 26th of last month was found murdered and buried in a chart behind his house. The body of the man’s son Bindumon (43) was found buried in the third ward of Aryad Panchayat. The body was found by the police after demolishing the floor behind Bindumon’s acquaintance Muthukumar’s house in AC Colony, Changanassery.
Bindumon’s bike was found from Pudupally yesterday. Bindumon, a BJP worker, is unmarried. On the 28th, Bindumon’s relatives filed a complaint with the Alappuzha North Police stating that Bindumon was missing. The subsequent inspection showed that the location of the mobile tower is near Changanassery AC Colony. With this, the police conducted an investigation in connection with Muthukumar’s house. Here, the police found that the floor next to the chart at the back of the house was freshly concreted. The floor of the house was demolished and the examination was carried out on the assumption that the body had been buried and then concreted.
The inspection was carried out by a team led by DySP Changanassery. A scientific investigation team, tagging experts and a dog squad arrived at the scene.
