The transport vehicle carrying this vaccine left the Moderna warehouse in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do and moved to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warehouse in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do.

Moderna applied for a product license for this vaccine with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in July last year and received the license on the 8th. On the 19th, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety received national shipping approval to check product quality before shipping.

This vaccine will be used for booster shots (booster shots) from next month.
