The movie ‘Mogadishu’ is showing off its terrifying momentum, taking the fifth place at the worldwide box office.
According to the foreign news Screen Daily on the 11th, ‘Mogadishu’ ranked fifth at the world-wide box office after ‘The Suicide Squad’, ‘Jungle Cruise’, ‘Aging’ and ‘Fast and Furious: The Ultimate’.
Despite the strong social distancing since the era of the corona pandemic, ‘Mogadishu’ proved to be the most successful Korean movie of the year.
The ‘Mogadishu’ side was delighted, saying, “In the end, it is the power of the audience.” The love of the Korean audience and the power of voluntary quarantine have achieved such a miraculous result.
‘Mogadishu’ has a freshness index of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and despite the limited screening in 42 theaters in North America, requests for extended screenings are pouring in. ‘Mogadishu’, which is at the top of both the box office and word-of-mouth in Korea, is on the verge of breaking the 2 million mark.
