MONCLER X FRGMT first series | Hypebeast

The new MONCLER X FRGMT joint series is inspired by a postcard in the Moncler archives. In 1974, the Mont Blanc expedition sent him to Moncler to thank him for the high performance clothing he provided to his members. In this series, Hiroshi Fujiwara continues his consistent design techniques, reinterpreting classic Moncler items with subtle details. The baseball jacket becomes the main item of the series, and Hiroshi Fujiwara reinterprets this style that he has loved since the 1980s, and is more suitable for the preferences of generation Z. Each jacket has baseball its own serial number, making it a truly unique piece.

Hiroshi Fujiwara experimented with his favorite design technique, using subtle contrasts of matte and glossy materials, on several pieces. T-shirts, jeans and knitwear decorated with a multicolored argyle check pattern complete the look. As always, Hiroshi Fujiwara uses black and white as the main color, embellished with vibrant yellow and turquoise to add a final touch to the work. The collection also includes a variety of accessories, including skates, hats, bucket hats, houndstooth tote bags and waxed canvas backpacks. The series adopts a new logo: the outline of the Moncler logo is divided into two, and the words FRGMT are in the middle, symbolizing the long-term and harmonious partnership between the two parties. The new series is available now, and those interested may wish to check it out.
