By season, summer (41.6%), when outdoor activities increase due to summer vacation, was the most common, followed by autumn (25.0%), spring (18.7%), and winter (14.6%).
By developmental stage, school-age (7-14 years old) children-related accidents accounted for the most at 43.1%, followed by infancy (4-6 years old) with 35.3% and toddlerhood (1-3 years old) with 21.5%.

By cause, falls from slides or swings accounted for 58.3%, accounting for more than half.
In addition, slips, falls (19.6%), and collisions (18.1%) accidents were also frequent.
In particular, safety accidents occurred most frequently in school age, but accidents due to slipping or falling were more frequent in infancy.
The symptoms of safety accidents were mainly skin and subcutaneous tissue damage (40.0%) and muscle, bone, and ligament damage (31.8%), and the most common injuries were the head and face (55.4%).
The Consumer Agency and the Fair Trade Commission said that although social interest in the safety and management of playground facilities is increasing, there is insufficient awareness of safety in use, and in order to prevent accidents, they urged children to watch and familiarize themselves with the safety rules until they finish playing. .
