Dubai Dubai Chief Traffic Prosecutor Salah Bu Farouza says vehicles driven by youths are the most common cause of accidents so far.
Most of the accidents involved vehicles driven by people between the ages of 18 and 35. Speeding and not keeping enough distance between vehicles are considered to be the main causes of accidents. Mobile phone use while driving can also lead to accidents. Salah said the cause of the accident would be subjected to scientific scrutiny and the perpetrators would be severely punished.
In 2019, there will be 1360 car accidents in Dubai. Of these, 132 were killed and 154 were seriously injured. Of these, 875 accidents involved motorists between the ages of 18 and 35. 77 deaths and 96 serious injuries were reported in these accidents alone.
As part of ensuring traffic safety, 114 false trends have been included in the list of violations. Significant reductions in the total number of accidents are reported each year as part of the impeccable transportation system. Yet the negligence of young people invites dangers. According to the World Economic Forum, Dubai’s transportation system has been excellent for the past five years.
It is the responsibility of the public to be traffic safety conscious. Vehicle handlers must be careful at all times. Self-safety and the safety of others is important. Everyone should be prepared to drive with the awareness that one moment of negligence is enough to cause a big accident.
Do not drive when you experience fatigue, drowsiness, or drowsiness caused by medication. Drivers should also be aware of the side effects of certain medications. The traffic prosecutor said that in case of an accident, the full responsibility lies with the driver. “There have been accidents due to speeding as well as accidents due to speeding,” he said.
In the 11 days since the school opened, there have been 3,230 accidents
Sharjah Rafid Accident Department reports 3,230 minor traffic accidents on Sharjah streets in 11 days
The department estimates the number of accidents between August 29 and September 9. During the same period last year, 2,615 accidents were reported. About 60 percent of accidents are caused by drivers not keeping enough distance between vehicles.
As of September 2 alone, 312 accidents had been reported. The daily rate for minor accidents this year is 213. With the opening of the school, there has been a huge increase in the number of vehicles on the streets. Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, manager of the Rafid Roadside Assistance Division, said a moment of careless behavior by people in the rush caused accidents.
Roads to and from schools also experienced significant traffic congestion. Al-Shamsi said vehicle users should be prepared to strictly abide by traffic laws. In case of an accident, the vehicle should be parked in a safe place immediately and the service center should be informed on 800 72343.
