Palakkad: A mother and her son were found dead inside their house in Ottapalam Palapuram. Mother Saraswati (68) and son (48) died while walking on the gas godown road. It is gathered that the son committed suicide after killing his mother.

The mother was found with deep cuts on her neck and her son was found dead by hanging. The bodies were found in the bedroom at nine in the morning on Tuesday. The police arrived at the scene and began the investigation.
