A mother jumps into a well with her children at Nadapuram, Kozhikode. The young woman was rescued but both children died. The suicide attempt was made by Subina, a native of Perot. Three-year-olds Fatima Rouha and Mohammad Raswin were killed. The bodies of the children are kept at Kozhikode Medical College. It will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem. Subina was taken into police custody after receiving first aid. Police said they suspect the girl is mentally ill. There are inconsistencies in the wording. According to her relatives, Subina had earlier tried to commit suicide by jumping into a ditch.
