It appears to be a direct competitor to the Moto X30 Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which were launched yesterday. Because they both hold the same strengths in the camera as Moto, the first 200MP camera smartphone, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, developed the camera with Leica.
Xiaomi has already launched a big one because besides Leica, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra uses a 1″ main camera sensor as well. Latest Motorola has not waited to reveal the camera sensor size of the Moto X30 Pro.
It has a sensor size of 1/1.22″, which is considered very large, but still slightly inferior to 1″ of Xiaomi 12S Ultra (compared to the size of the image above).
The main camera sensor of the Moto X30 Pro is expected to be the 200MP high resolution ISOCELL HP1 that was launched last year. 50 mm. and 85 mm. came out as well.
It is possible that we may see a camera feature that uses high resolutions from this 200MP sensor rather than just the main camera (probably using digital zoom, which can be sharp at various distances).
It’s a fun competition, as they both have high-end numbers, whether it’s the Moto’s 200MP resolution or the 1″ sensor.
