[20日 ロイター] -Evgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian private military company Wagner, said in a letter to Defense Minister Shoigu published on the 20th that the Ukrainian army aims to separate Wagner’s forces from the main Russian army in eastern Ukraine, having been warned of an attack which is coming.
In the letter, Prigozhin said that a “massive offensive” was planned for late March or early April, and “requested that every measure be taken to ensure that Wagner’s troops would not be cut off from the main forces Russia.” If Wagner’s forces are cut off, it will have a negative impact on the ‘special military operations’ (Russia is conducting in Ukraine).”
This is the first time Prigozhin has announced his exchanges with Defense Minister Shoigu.
