‘At first many people thought seven was my lucky number. But the reason behind my choice of this number is very simple. Number seven is one that stays close to my heart. I have heard many people talk about the importance of this number. I was born on July 7th. Being born on the seventh day of the seventh month, I accepted it as my jersey number. – Dhoni said.

When someone asks me about the same, I say I was born in ’81. So subtracting one from eight is seven, and seven is a neutral number. So it is believed that seven brings good luck but not bad luck. I’m not a fanatic. But number seven stays close to my heart. ‘ -Dhoni added.
