Kochi: The High Court has said that goats can be raised for those studying for a master’s degree. But the court’s criticism is that we are not ready for that and need to change our mindset. The court was referring to a petition filed by an employee questioning the non-appointment of PSC. The court dismissed the petition, which was considered by a division bench comprising Justice Alexander Thomas and Justice Badruddin.
The court criticized the government for not insisting that everyone should have a job. About 75% of government revenue is spent on salaries and other benefits. The new generation wants government jobs for all. This thinking is unique to Kerala. The mentality of the youth must change. MSc students can also raise sheep. The court said the problem was that it was not ready for it.
