Panaji: Mumbai City FC have signed Brazilian striker Diego Mauricio. Mauritius has reached Mumbai on a temporary contract until May 31.
The 30-year-old Mauricio was the star of Odisha FC last season. He played 20 games last season, scoring 12 goals and two assists.
Mauritius is currently playing for Qatar’s second division club Al Shahania. He has scored eight goals in just nine games for the team. Mauritius is also the league’s top scorer.

The player arrived in Goa to join the Mumbai team. Mauritius will join the team after completing the quarantine. Reigning ISL champions Mumbai started playing well in the new season but then fell into poor form. Mumbai are currently fourth in the points table with 17 points from 11 matches.
