Mumbai: In the first match of the IPL, Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson made a splash in batting and Mumbai Indians’ Thampi in bowling. The two teams are coming face to face on Saturday. Prior to this, Mumbai has tweeted a picture of Malayalee stars. Mumbai’s tweet with an interesting caption.

Later, Sanju shared this picture on Facebook. Sanju posted the movie titled ‘Thampi Aliyan’. Anyway, some people have asked the Mumbai admin to post tweets in Malayalam.
Sanju scored a half-century in the first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad to lead the team to victory. He scored 55 off 27 balls to win the Player of the Match award. Devdutt Padikkal, another Malayalee in the team, put on 73 runs for the third wicket.
Basil Thampi, the pace bowler of the Mumbai Indians, bowled well against the Delhi Capitals. The Malayalee pacer took three wickets for 35 runs in four overs. Despite Mumbai losing by four wickets, Basil’s performance was well received by the fans.
