Kottayam: Mumbai Indians and Kerala cricket team pacer Basil Thambi got married. Basil Mullamangalam, a native of Iringol, Perumbavoor, is the son of MM Thambi and Lizzie. The bride is Sneha Roy, the daughter of Roy David and JC, of Mukukuzha Pralyakad Roy.
Tinu Yohannan, Ranji Trophy coach of Kerala cricket team, Kerala captain Sachin Baby, IPL stars, celebrities and others were part of the ceremony.
Basil, who played for Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, was acquired by Mumbai Indians in the recent mega star auction. Basil has taken 90 wickets in 38 first-class matches and 72 wickets in 69 Twenty20 matches.
