Kottayam: Musician and lyricist Alleppey Ranganath has passed away. He was 70 years old. He died at Kottayam Medical College at night. He was suffering from corona. He is the winner of this year’s Harivarasanam Award. He received the award last day. The disease was later confirmed by a follow-up examination.
He was admitted to the hospital yesterday evening following suffocation. By nightfall, his health was deteriorating. He has composed and composed over 2,000 songs in film, drama and simple songs.
