Must go on!! FA confirm Southgate as England Euro 2024 manager

The English Football Association (FA) has confirmed that Gareth Southgate will remain in charge of the England national team until Euro 2024.

The 52-year-old coach led the Roaring Lions to fall short of their dream side at the 2022 World Cup when they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by losing 1-2 to France.

However, the FA still trusts him to continue in his role as boss of the Three Lions. Until the European Championships in the next 2 years

“We are very pleased to confirm that Gareth Southgate will continue as England manager. and will lead our Euro 2024 squad.”

“Gareth and Steve Holland (assistant coach) will always be fully supported. Our preparation plans for the Euros have already started.”

Southgate has been England coach since 2016, leading the team to 4th place at the 2018 World Cup, followed by a runner-up finish at Euro 2020 and a quarter-final exit at the 2022 World Cup.
