New Delhi: Swami Prasad Maurya, who resigned from the Yogi Adityanath cabinet in Uttar Pradesh, has said that his resignation has caused an earthquake in the BJP. He said the next move would be announced on Friday and more ministers and MLAs would leave the BJP with him.
Maurya said he had only resigned as a minister and had not left the BJP or joined the Samajwadi Party. But he soon made it clear that he had rejected the BJP and did not intend to return to the party. He does not intend to join the Samajwadi Party for the time being. My resignation has shaken the BJP.
