Nadal v Medvedev in Australian Open men’s singles final

Nadal defeated Matteo Beretini (7th place, Italy) with a set score of 3-1 (6-3 6-2 3-6 6-3) in the men’s singles semifinal match held in Melbourne, Australia on the 28th.

This is the sixth time Nadal has reached the Australian Open final. However, the only win was in 2009. In 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2019, they were all runners-up. In 2012 and 2019, they lost to Novak Djokovic (1st place, Serbia), and in 2017 they lost to Roger Federer (17th place, Switzerland). In 2014, he lost to the ambush Stanislas Wavrinka (82nd place, Switzerland) and missed the championship.
