[천지일보=김현진 기자] Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister of Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance, announced that he would try with Corona in phases in October.
Deputy Prime Minister Hong presided over a meeting of the Central Emergency Economy Response Headquarters at the government complex in Seoul on the 30th and said, “The fourth quarter is a very important time in terms of improving the overall resilience of the Korean economy and maximizing economic performance this year. We will fundamentally focus on recovering people’s livelihood through harmonization of quarantine and economy through an attempt to ‘step-by-step recovery of daily life (with Corona)’, which is triggered by the formation of collective immunity.”
The government also announced that it will pay compensation for losses to small businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis from the end of October.
Deputy Prime Minister Hong said, “We will never neglect our efforts to provide policy support to overcome the crisis of small business owners, vulnerable groups, and marginalized companies.” From the end of October, we will prepare for payment without any setbacks.”
Deputy Prime Minister Hong said that he would also strengthen efforts to minimize the use of blankets in this year’s main and supplementary budgets. He explained that by taking measures to minimize carryover and disuse, the effect of ‘second economic reinforcement’ worth several trillion won can be achieved.”
In particular, he said, “The most important and strong foundation for economic recovery is private investment. will lean on it,” he said.
