The Indian women finally conceded defeat after trailing by one goal and coming back with three goals. Britain took the lead with a brace at the start of the second quarter. But Gurjit Kaur scored a double to put India ahead. India then took the lead with a third goal through Vandana Kataria. But the final quarter was decisive as Britain drew 3-3 in the third quarter.
