NASA shares stunning images of ‘elegant’ galaxies

(Nexta) – NASA We have shared some amazing new images of a galaxy far away. (To be more precise, it is 130 million light-years away.)

The galaxy’s name is NGC 5728, an ancient name for what the European Space Agency described as “a graceful, luminous finite spiral galaxy.”

The galaxy was observed by one of the Hubble Space Telescope’s cameras and is “extremely sensitive” to both visible and infrared light. The European Space Agency said… (The telescope is a joint effort between NASA and the European Space Agency.)

“So it beautifully captures the region of NGC 5728 that emits light at this wavelength. But there are many other types of light emitting galaxies like NGC 5728 that WFC3 cannot see.”

What we can’t see from the camera is how active this galaxy really is.

Things get a little more complicated for geeks who don’t work in space. Scientists believe that NGC 5728 is what is called a “Sievert Galaxy” driven by an “extremely active” active core. Other active galactic nuclei emit a lot of radiant energy, making it virtually impossible to observe nearby galaxies. This is why this galaxy stands out. As you can see in the image, it emits both visible and recordable light.

The European Space Agency has acknowledged that the galactic nucleus could emit more light, but the Hubble camera is not sensitive to it, making this galaxy “more than what you can see”.

  1. Square enix has always tried to charge premium prices for all their games. This is nothing new for them. You have to hope and wait for the games to go on sale if they ever do.
