National Soft Power Committee Prepares for Groundbreaking Collaboration: OFOS – THACCA

‘Pae Thongtarn’ Engages with the National Soft Power Team for Inaugural Game

On 3 October, Pansak Winyarat, Suraphong Suebwonglee, and Saphapat of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee gathered to meet the eminent team. Prior to this, on 23 September, Miss Paetongthan Shinawatra, Vice-Chairman of the committee, took to social media to share a message after the first informal meeting, which also saw the participation of private sector directors. Her message read, “‘OFOS – THACCA’ is ready to run.”

To recap the various proposals encompassing soft power, members of the private sector within the National Softpower Strategic Committee convened on the fringes of TCDC, the General Post Office, in an effort to prepare for the forthcoming committee meeting at the House of Government. Scheduled on 3 October, this meeting will be attended by esteemed individuals, including Professor Pansak Winyarat, Councillor, and Dr Liap Suraphong Suebwonglee, Secretary General of the NESDB. Additionally, the Director General of the International Trade Promotion Department, the Director General of the CEA, the Governor of Tourism, and the Secretary General of the Minister of Culture were present.

The atmosphere during the meeting exuded a sense of excitement and hope, as ideas and proposals were discussed in great detail by the Vice Chairman of the Board. The aim of OFOS – THACCA is to collaborate wholeheartedly to foster the development of creativity and advanced skills for 20 million individuals, while simultaneously cultivating various soft power industries. Achieving global recognition should not prove to be an arduous task with the cooperation of all parties.

Ing, who will periodically update the progress of the project, firmly believes that OFOS – THACCA is a significantly important policy that will enhance the potential of advanced skills and creativity within the populace, reminiscent of TCDC’s initiation by the Thai Rak Thai government.
