The Korean Short Track Speed Skating Team will run from November 10th to 12th, local time. Salt Lake City, Utah, USAopen in 2022/23 International Skating Union (ISU) Four Continents Short Track Championships.Including 4 gold medals, a total of 7 medals were harvested (4 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze).
Jiwon ParkHe won two gold medals in the men’s 1000m and 1500m events. “I like this ice because it goes out really fast,” he told ISU after winning the 1000 m.
Park continued, “Everyone was waiting for each other to see who would go first, and I think I took the lead when Pascal Dion (Canada, silver medalist) didn’t expect it.”
In the 2022/23 season, Park Ji only played the 1st and 2nd World Cup and the Four Continents Championship – but he has already won a total of 6 gold medals. How many more times can we see him on top of the podium for the rest of this season?
Sim Seok-heeshe won the gold medal in the women’s 500m and contributed to the victory in the women’s 3000m relay final, achieving two gold medals. This is Shim Suk-hee’s first individual gold medal on the international stage after winning the women’s 1000m at the World Championships held in Montreal, Canada in March 2018.
