Rumor has it that RTX 40 series users will need to use the latest BIOS to play Need for Speed Unbound.
When some users experienced flashing after the release of Need for Speed Unbound, EA announced that the cause of the problem was in the motherboard BIOS.
When I first gave my take on this problem, I talked about the graphics card BIOS, not the motherboard, but I corrected that the problem was caused by the motherboard BIOS, not the VBIOS.
FYI, before the release of Need for Speed Unbound, Nvidia recommended updating the VBIOS as a solution to the same symptom and distributed the tool. The tool can be used not only for Nvidia Founders Edition, but also for products not referred by partners, and supports RTX 4090 and 4080.
