Electronic Arts and Criterion Games have debuted a special edition vehicle that recreates the style of the Mercedes-Benz 190E seen in Need for Speed Unbound, starring A$AP Rocky. The video shows the state of the time.

Need for Speed Unbound will be a current console-only title and is expected to be released on December 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The official trailer for Need for Speed Unbound, released last month, shows an animated-looking A$AP Rocky zipping around town in a Mercedes-Benz 190E.

In the video released this time, A$AP Rocky shows the first time he saw a full scale model of “Mercedes-Benz 190E” in Brooklyn, New York. When he sees the black, white, and gold vehicles, his first reaction is “Awesome!” “Oh… this is wonderful!”

Similar to the illustration in the game’s official trailer video, the door is designed with the motif of his tattoo “If not now, then when”.

A$AP Rocky took a closer look and said, “The detail is incredible.” “I saw a car with green fog lights.

He then tried the ride height adjustment feature and believes it is “the most complete”.

“I wanna run it around town soon,” A$AP Rocky said. “I’d beat all of you, if I did[byd Need for Speed]is real.”

Electronic Arts wrote in the description of the video: “A$AP Rocky’s Mercedes-Benz 190E would be the envy of many people. Check out A$AP Rocky’s reaction to seeing the special edition car for the first time.”

“You’ve been wanting one too? In the game, if you beat Rocky, you can take this car back to your garage. Customize it and hit the streets.”

A$AP Rocky and his own creative team, August, are also behind the “genre-crossing” soundtrack for Need for Speed Unbound.

According to IGN, this work is being developed as “a title exclusive to current consoles, using Electronic Arts’ in-house ‘Frostbite Engine'”. Other features include 4K resolution and 60fps frame rate video rendering, physics system setup that achieves high frame rates, offline support for single player mode, cross-play for multiplayer mode, and back distribution of updates free content, etc.

The game will be developed by Criterion Games, the studio behind the Burnout series. Criterion Games will be working on the Need for Speed franchise for the first time since 2012’s Need for Speed Most Wanted.

In February 2020, Electronic Arts announced that Criterion Games would take over the development studio for the Need for Speed series in order to reorganize Ghost Games, which developed the last four titles in the Need for Speed series.
