Concern that the student will continue his studies due to the negligence of the teachers who came to the examination work. Mappayoor Govt. Mohammad Yassin, a student at the Vocational Higher Secondary School, was marked ‘absent’ when he came up with the results of the English exam.
Mohammad Yasin is the son of hotel worker Valyakode Karingatikkal Mittal Rasikh Pareed of Perambra. On the day of the English exam on March 21, there were many problems due to the negligence of the teachers. Teachers told parents at 2 a.m. that Yasin had not arrived for the afternoon exam. The parent went to the school and showed the class where the exam was written, the register number and the photo of the child. However, the teachers replied that the child had not arrived.
As it was a public examination, teachers from another school were assigned to do the examination. So there were no teachers in the school who knew the student. The parents then lodged a complaint with the Maypayur police on the instructions of the teachers. The school was within the limits of Perambra station and was directed to lodge a complaint there. Police said they would investigate after the exam.
The parent then returned to school. Meanwhile, the Maypayur police had issued a notice to the police officers assigned to control the Kovid at the school. The parent then waited with the police at the school until the exam was over. After the exam, the boy came out of the school for the third time. The teachers were alarmed.
The parents asked if there would be a problem when the exam results came but the teachers assured that the problem would be solved. But when the result came, it was recorded that the child did not appear for the exam. Yassin’s teachers are worried about how to solve this problem. Yasin has lodged a complaint with the Director of Public Instruction and the Minister seeking to find his answer sheet and resolve the issue.
