Never seen before, this is the real Royal Enfield; Shot gun pictures | Upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 motorcycle spot testing with accessories

Shotgun 650 inspired by Royal Enfield’s Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles is out. The bike caught the eye of the camera while doing a test run in the country. Earlier, Shotgun 650 was also tested abroad. The exact details of the production model are available in the currently released images.

The design and styling of the shotgun is similar to the SG650 concept. The bike has round lamps and rear view mirrors, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and a wide rear mudguard. These design pieces give it a retro-classic look. The headlamps contain LED elements and the blinkers contain halogen bulbs.

The shotgun test version has centrally located footpegs and a one-piece seat. The bike will also feature turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charger and an LED lighting system. The bike gets USD forks at the front and dual rear shock absorbers to handle the suspension duties. There will be front and rear disc brakes along with dual channel ABS.

The official engine details of the bike are yet to be revealed. The vehicle will be powered by Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel engine, air cooled. This is the engine in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It comes with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. The engine will produce 47bhp of power and 52Nm of torque. But there are also indications that the power and torque of the 650cc Shotgun may be slightly different.
