Police to Proceed with Legal Proceedings in Scissors Stuck in Stomach Case

A new charge sheet is set to be presented to the court in the disturbing case of scissors found lodged in a patient’s stomach. The updated charge sheet, excluding the District Medical Officer (DMO) and the medical college superintendent who were previously listed, will be submitted on Friday.
Accusations have been directed towards the senior doctors involved in the surgery, as well as two postgraduate doctors and two nurses. After receiving legal advice, the police have been given the green light to proceed with legal proceedings.
Under the Medical Negligence Act, the police can take action in such cases. On the basis of further legal advice, the investigative team may even arrest the doctors implicated in this shocking incident. The investigation team has concluded that the senior doctor, two postgraduate doctors, and two nurses who treated Harshina are indeed guilty.
It has been confirmed, based on legal counsel, that the charge sheet filed against them has been done so correctly and that there are no obstacles to apprehending these criminals.
