The Saudi Passport Authority has stated that exit re-entry will not be issued unless the passport has a validity of three months. The Saudi Directorate General of Passports (JAWSAT) has announced that the re-entry period will start from the date of departure from Saudi Arabia.

The validity of the re-entry visa will start from the date of departure of an expatriate traveling abroad from Saudi Arabia. However, if the duration of the journey is limited to a few days or if the re-entry is received with the intention of returning before the due date, the re-entry period will be calculated from the date of issue.

The fee for a single re-entry visa is 200 riyals. It will have a term of two months. If you want to extend the term, you have to pay 100 riyals for each subsequent month. Javasat said the re-entry visa would be extended depending on the duration of the iqama.

The fee for a multi-entry visa for multiple trips outside Saudi Arabia is 500 riyals for three months. However, if the iqama expires, you can obtain a multiple re-entry visa by paying 200 riyals for each additional month.
