Abu Dhabi: A change in the Abu Dhabi entry requirements from other emirates in the UAE will take effect on Thursday (December 30). The new announcement was made by the authorities on Tuesday. Officials said the change in the rules was part of efforts to curb the spread of Kovid in the country.

Those who have been vaccinated against Kovid must show the green status in the Al Hussein application when entering Abu Dhabi from other emirates. Those who have not been vaccinated must present a negative result of the Kovid PCR test performed within 96 hours.

Those entering Abu Dhabi from other emirates are currently subjected to EDE scanning at border points. This will continue. Border EDE scanning is used to identify those who may be at risk for Kovid. Those who test positive will be tested for antigen at a testing center set up there. This test is free. Officials said the new regulations were aimed at protecting public health in the country and controlling the Kovid.

Updated the list of countries that do not require quarantine in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: The list of green countries that allow quarantine exemption entry in Abu Dhabi has been revised again. The new list has been released by modifying the previous list. All travelers from these countries are exempted from the mandatory quarantine in Abu Dhabi.

Passengers must present a Covid negative result within 48 hours of departure. You must also undergo a PCR check upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Passengers who have received the vaccine from Green List countries must arrive in Abu Dhabi and undergo a PCR test on the sixth day.

Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burma, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Denmark, , Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Norway , Portugal, Qatar, Ireland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Syria, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Yemen, Ukraine, Yemen. , USA and Uzbekistan are currently on the green list.
