The new 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge is optional with a single electric motor model producing a maximum power of 231 horsepower and a battery that provides a driving range of approximately 434 kilometers per charge. Focus on slashing prices to make them more accessible.

The 67 kWh Volvo C40 Recharge single-motor battery offers a range of 434 km per charge based on WLTP, compared to the 75 kWh twin-motor with a larger battery. With a range of 437 kilometers under the same test standards, the single-motor model supports a quick charge from 10-80% in about 32 minutes and fully charges an 11 kW home in about 7 hours.
Volvo also introduced the new 2022 Minor Change XC40 Recharge, which has a facelift similar to the C40 Recharge, while retaining the iconic Thor hammer headlamps. With Pixel LED technology, it helps to adjust the high light distribution so that it doesn’t poke the eyes of the travellers. Other highlights include a leather-free cabin, Orrefors crystal shift knob, illuminated console and door panels, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The launch and availability of the minor change Volvo C40 Rechage (Single-motor) and XC40 Rechage will take place at a later date.
