Two of the confirmed cases of Omicron infection were in Haidian District. Another positive case was in Chaoyang District, which was infected with the Delta variant.
The positive case reported by the authorities is quite noteworthy. The patient lives in Shigezhuang Village, Pingfang Township, Chaoyang District, and went to Beijing to work in November last year. Symptoms of a cold appeared on the 14th. Yesterday (17th), the diagnosis was positive, and the specific mutation site of the delta variant strain was detected.
