Happy ending: seriously ill Linzer back home

Helmut H.’s family from Linz-Ebelsberg was desperate. The 53-year-old has been missing since the early morning. “For health reasons, he normally never just leaves the apartment unless he has medical appointments,” his daughter wrote in a Facebook post. The reason: Your dad has a serious heart condition, suffers from Parkinson’s and is therefore dependent on walking aids. However, these stayed with him at home.

The last time Linz was seen was around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Since then, the police, fire brigade and relatives have been looking for Helmut H. In the afternoon the redeeming message: Helmut H. is back home. The 53-year-old had visited his old company and then sat on the Linz city council without a cell phone battery. The police finally took him back to his partner.
