He was born in Manama – Bahrain, into a family of leading merchants in the business community. He received his primary education from reputed scholars before joining the family business to help his father lay the foundations for Ebrahim K. Kanoo.
In 1974 he was elected to the position of Vice President of Ebrahim K. Kanoo where he initiated programs to develop the company’s infrastructure making Ebrahim K. Kanoo’s name and brand synonymous with quality.
The group is proud to be the distributor of leading auto products such as Toyota, Lexus and other auto products in addition to investments in health, real estate, residential, commercial, banking and finance.
Mr. Fuad Kanoo played many distinguished and pioneering roles in promoting the development of the national trade of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has a long and proud history of being an active member of the community who donates generously to charities and actively participates in supporting community, social, intellectual, health and sports programmes.
