The Gulf University announced that it will continue to open registration for the spring semester 2022/2023 for high school graduates and transferees from other universities, with scholarships of up to 50%. The Head of the Admission and Registration Unit at the Gulf University, Professor Baraa Al-Samarrai, stated that scholarships are offered to students in all bachelor’s programs currently offered at the university, and the percentage of the scholarship depends on the type of specialization, the student’s average in high school, and his participation in student activities, with the aim of supporting and encouraging outstanding students to pursue academic and student excellence.

She added that what distinguishes the scholarships offered by the Gulf University is that the scholarship is offered to the student throughout his studies at the university and is not limited to one semester or one academic year.

Al-Samarrai explained that the university includes a number of academic disciplines accredited by the Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has finally included the Gulf University among the recognized and recommended universities for Saudi students to enroll for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Higher education provided by the “Gulf University”, which confirms the quality of educational services provided by the university, in addition to meeting international standards, in addition to the development of university infrastructure and facilities.

Al-Samarrai indicated the programs offered by the university, which are: “Master of Media, Bachelor of Media, Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Accounting and Finance, Bachelor of Human Resources Management, and Bachelor of Interior Design Engineering,” in addition to the “Electrical and Electronic Engineering” and “Mechanical Engineering” programs in cooperation with the University of Northampton. in the UK.

In this regard, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Osama Al-Rawi, confirmed that these programs qualify the student to obtain a degree from a prestigious university in Britain accredited locally and internationally, in addition to a British education system and joint professors from the University of Northampton and the Gulf University, while ensuring the quality of education and experiences available in the event of travel abroad. And at an affordable cost.

Acting Dean of the College of Communication and Media Technologies and Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Sherif Badran, indicated that the Master of Media program is one of the distinguished programs that focus on developing the student’s leadership and media skills at the same time, in a different way, away from the traditional methods. He stressed that the study in the master’s program will be over three semesters, and the student must pass 42 study hours.

The master’s program also includes 10 academic courses in addition to a master’s thesis. The courses focus on planning, strategic and leadership thinking skills in media institutions, whether governmental or private, in addition to global trends in the media field.

For his part, Acting Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Firas Muhammad, stated that the law program is based largely on the practical side in order for the student to gain real experience during the study period. The skills required for these fields are in line with the requirements of the field of law, stressing that, based on the studies carried out by the Gulf University, it was found that the labor market today needs jurists who have the ability to conduct, organize and manage legal transactions related to information technology sectors, the growing business sector, and the real estate sector that has expanded to include legal concepts Modern.
