Apple’s next-generation iPhone SE model will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display with a notch design, foreign media reported, citing Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young.
“The fourth-generation iPhone SE model will feature a 6.1-inch display and a notch at the top of the display,” Ross Young said. However, it is not clear if the split will include a TrueDepth camera for Face ID.
According to some reports, Apple will add Touch ID to the side of the next iPhone SE model, similar to the iPad Air and iPad mini. Also, celebrity tipster John Prosser claimed that “the next generation iPhone SE model will have the same form factor as the discontinued iPhone XR.”
Meanwhile, the 3rd generation iPhone SE model currently on sale is equipped with a 4.7-inch LCD display based on the iPhone 8 design with huge bezels and a home button with Touch ID.
