The foreign dismantling team “Nintendo Prime” released a dismantling video of the Nintendo Switch OLED version, which found some interesting details. Because the base is equipped with a HDMI 2.0 video transmission port, it can output 4K and HDR specifications at 60fps, implying that Nintendo may launch a 4K-quality Switch game console in the future.
Regarding the 4K version of the Switch, there have been many rumors that Nintendo will launch it in 2021, but it is a pity that the launch of the Switch OLED this time Nintendo only updated the OLED display. The internal hardware specifications include processor, memory, and storage capacity. Too many changes, considering that 4K image quality requires a stronger display chip, the Nvidia Tegra X1 still in use cannot cope with the 4K specifications.
