Pala: Nithina was stabbed by a college classmate in Pala while she was talking to her mother on the phone. The two met at the college after an exam to buy back the phone that Abhishek had seized two days ago. Nithina was stabbed when she was approached by a security guard who saw a fight between them.
Abhishek’s animosity towards him when he felt he was moving away led to the murder. The mother, who was exhausted after seeing her daughter’s unconscious body, cried to those who came to comfort her that her daughter would return. According to her classmates, Nithina and Abhishek had been close for two years and both their families knew about it. But after two years, Abhishek lost the mental strength to end the relationship.

His mother is a temporary employee of the Medical College. Nithina’s funeral will be held at her relative’s house as she does not have a place to live at present.
