Tom Dumont, the guitarist for No Doubt, has revealed that he was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease several years ago. The 58-year-old musician shared the news in a video posted to Instagram on April 11, 2026, coinciding with World Parkinson’s Day.

Dumont explained that he began experiencing symptoms a number of years ago, which led him to consult a neurologist and undergo a series of tests. This process ultimately resulted in the diagnosis of early-onset Parkinson’s, a form of the progressive movement disorder that begins before age 50.

Despite the diagnosis, Dumont confirmed that he remains capable of performing and is preparing to take the stage for No Doubt’s upcoming residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

In his announcement, Dumont described his experience with the condition as a struggle every day. He noted that he intends to create further video content to provide more details regarding what the disease entails.

Dumont emphasized the positive aspect of his current health status, stating that he can still play music and guitar, and that he has been doing really well.

Dumont expressed significant excitement about the upcoming shows, mentioning that the last few months of preparation have been very fun.
