ShowKaarthik shankar, who is popular among Malayalees through short films and web series, is directing cinema for the first time in Telugu. The film is being produced by Kodi Divya’s daughter under the banner of Telugu legendary director Kodi Ramakrishna, who has directed over 140 films. This is the first time a Malayalee has done his first directorial venture in Telugu.
The pooja of the film was held today at Annapurna Studio, Hyderabad. Telugu young star Kiran Abbavaram is the hero. The heroine is Kannada actress Sanjana Anand. “I was in talks to make a film in Malayalam. That’s when the team of this film approached me after seeing my work. So I decided to do the first film in Telugu.
