No Man’s Sky is coming to Mac – Engadget 中文版

Hello Games

At last year’s WWDC, Hello Games confirmed that it would use Apple’s MetalFX Upscaling technology to bring its No Man’s Sky (No Man’s Sky) to the Mac platform. Now, a year later, before the start of WWDC 2023, the game is finally officially launched on macOS. According to the official presentation, this work uses the Metal 3 API to “ensure console-level image quality on laptops and lower-end devices without compromising battery life.” All Mac computers using Apple chips and Intel Core i5 chips can run this work. Users who have previously purchased “No Man’s Sky” on Steam do not need to re-purchase, and the game is also support cross-platform connection and cross-play. Save your progress.

This work is currently on Steam, and will also be available on the Mac App Store “soon”.
