No masks for children under 11 in Oman

Muscat: Children under the age of 11 are exempted from wearing masks in schools in Oman.

The Ministry of Health said the exemption was due to the fact that children at this age are not aware of the things to look out for when wearing a mask.

The mask is mandatory for employees 12 years of age and older, including teachers. Admission to the school will not be allowed if the body temperature is high.
