No more TPR, disease rate determined by population; Concessions on lockdowns

Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has relaxed the lockdown restrictions. From now on, the lockdown will be on Sundays only. Instead of TPR, Kovid rates will now be based on population.

The lockdown on Saturday had already been postponed. Now more concessions have been announced. The concessions were announced by Health Minister Veena George in the Assembly.

Restrictions will now be in place depending on how many people are diagnosed with the disease per 1000 people. A triple lockdown will be announced in the area if more than 10 out of 1000 people have a week to confirm the Kovid.

The mob ban will continue. A large area of worship can accommodate up to 40 people and a maximum of 20 people can attend weddings and funerals.
