In terms of actor awards, Liu Ye, Shen Teng, Wu Jing, Yi Yang Qianxi and Zhang Yi were nominated for Best Actor, and Deng Jiajia, Jia Ling, Yuan Quan, Zhang Xiaofei and Zhang Zifeng were nominated for Best Actress. Best Supporting Actor nominations include Hou Yong, Liu Haoran, Tian Yu, Yi Yang Qianxi, Zhu Yawen, and Best Supporting Actress nominations include Hai Qing, Liu Jia, Qi Xi, Zhou Ye, and Zhu Yuanyuan.

The main visual poster of the 36th Hundred Flowers Awards for Popular Films was also officially released. The series of awards ceremony activities will be held in Wuhan, Hubei Province from July 28 to 30.
