Non-Umrah pilgrims can also perform Tawaf at the Haram Mosque in Makkah

Non-pilgrims are allowed to perform Tawaf at the Haram Mosque in Makkah. Tawaf is permitted at three times a day for three hours. With the arrival of more believers, the Tawaaf of the Haram is returning to normal.

The Tawaf facility is on the first floor for non-pilgrims. Hawa Haider, a spokeswoman for the Department of Haram Affairs, said that the Tawaf will be allowed from 7 am to 10 am, from 9 pm to 12 noon and from 12 noon to 3 am. This also requires prior approval through the Ithamarna app.

To do this, use the Tawaaf First Floor link in the Permit Request from the Services tab in the Itamarna app. Although the Haram mosque is currently open to the public at full capacity, only pilgrims are allowed to perform the Tawaf or circumambulation of the Kaaba.

This restriction was imposed in the context of the Kovid expansion. But with the Kovid under control in the country, the phases were gradually eased. As a result, only Tawaf is now permitted for believers.
