NC Courage and NCFC are celebrating Credit Suisse's Proud Night. This long-awaited replica comes after the FIFA World Cup break and at a crucial point in the NWSL schedule. Both teams sit in the top four in NWSL teams, but two points apart.

Although both teams without their World Cup players, new challenges and names have emerged. For the NC Courage, Rookie Leah Pruitt made her way into the front lineup. Pruitt already has a goal and helps her rookie season. For the Portland Thorns, Midge Purce has taken control, scoring three goals in the two most recent Thorns games'.

In addition, Kristen Hamilton has risen on NC Courage on taking forward the team on the Pride Orlando on Saturday, June 1 with her career haltrick. After her performance, she was named as the NWSL Player of the Week. Hamilton played 414 minutes in eight games this season.

Jaelene Hinkle was helping Hamilton's goals, making her the third most useful season for the NWSL. Lynn Williams has the second best help in the team with two.

The Thorns were playing on Sunday 2nd June, repeating the Chicago Red Stars, 3-0. Purce had a brace in the game and Marissa Everett added a goal.

The courage and horn did not hit the NWSL Championship on 22 September, 2018, winning the first NWSL Championship. The two teams met in the final two seasons, promoting their competition.
