PYONGYANG: As the world bids farewell to the Tokyo Olympics in Paris, North Korea’s national television will be the first to televise matches between Britain and Chile at the Olympics.

The 70-minute commentary on the match was reportedly aired in low resolution. But it is not clear how the footage got this time.

North Korea is the only country outside the Tokyo Olympics named after Kovid. North Korea has said the move is aimed at preventing athletes from catching Kovid. This is the first time North Korea has not competed in a Dummer Olympics since it boycotted the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
