North Korean Security Council ICBM discussion begins… Western Russia and Chinese appear to be at odds

On the morning of the 21st (local time), the United Nations Security Council began a meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to discuss North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch.

South Korea’s Ambassador to the United Nations Hwang Joon-guk also attended the Security Council meeting, convened 17 days after the last 4 days to address the issue of North Korea’s ballistic missile, as an interested party.

As in previous meetings, it is expected that the Western countries, led by the United States, and China and Russia will show a tense disagreement over the root of North Korea’s ICBM launch and how to deal with it.
